Field Sales Executive

About the Role

Shiridi Sai Solars is looking for motivated and customer-focused Field Sales Executives to join our growing sales team. The role involves generating new business opportunities, meeting customers, understanding their solar requirements, conducting site visits, presenting suitable solar solutions, and converting prospects into customers.

The ideal candidate should have strong communication skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to confidently interact with customers in the field.

Key Responsibilities

1. Lead Generation

- Identify and generate new customer leads through daily field visits.
- Conduct cold calling and local networking to develop new business opportunities.
- Generate leads through customer references and referrals.
- Build and maintain a strong prospect pipeline.

2. Site Feasibility

- Visit customer locations to understand their solar requirements.
- Evaluate available roof space, shading conditions, and other site-related factors.
- Understand the customer's electricity consumption and recommend suitable solar solutions.
- Coordinate with the technical team whenever required for site assessment.

3. Customer Education & Consultation

- Explain solar technology, system benefits, and installation processes to customers.
- Clearly communicate potential electricity bill savings and Return on Investment (ROI).
- Explain available EMI/financing options and applicable government subsidies.
- Address customer questions and concerns professionally.

4. Proposals, Pricing & Sales Closure

- Prepare and present customized solar system quotations based on customer requirements.
- Explain pricing, system specifications, payment terms, and other commercial details.




- Negotiate with customers within approved company guidelines.
- Follow up with prospects and convert qualified leads into successful sales.
- Maintain robust customer relationships throughout the sales process.

5. CRM & Sales Reporting

- Record daily customer interactions and lead information in the CRM.
- Schedule and manage customer follow-ups.
- Keep the sales pipeline updated regularly.
- Submit daily/weekly sales activity reports to management.
- Maintain accurate records of leads, opportunities, and sales closures.

Qualifications & Requirements

Education:

- No specific educational qualification required.

Experience:

- Freshers are welcome to apply.
- Candidates with prior sales or field sales experience are also welcome.

Key Skills:

- Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Active listening and customer-handling abilities.
- Good negotiation and persuasion skills.
- Strong time-management and organizational skills.
- Willingness to travel locally for customer meetings and site visits.
- Self-motivated, target-oriented, and willing to work in the field.
- Basic knowledge of computers/CRM systems will be an advantage.

Compensation

Salary: ₹15,000 – ₹20,000 per month
