EDM Operator – Job Description

Location: Peenya, Bengaluru, Karnataka

Salary: ₹17,000 – ₹25,000 per month

Experience: Minimum 1 year

Education: ITI / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering

- Job ResponsibilitiesOperate and set up EDM machines for precision machining of components.
- Read and understand engineering drawings and machining requirements.
- Set machine parameters according to job specifications.
- Monitor the machining process and ensure accurate dimensions and quality.
- Perform basic machine inspection, cleaning, and maintenance.
- Measure finished components using appropriate measuring instruments.
- Identify machining defects and make necessary adjustments.
- Follow workplace safety procedures and maintain proper housekeeping.




- Coordinate with the production and quality teams to meet production targets.
- RequirementsMinimum 1 year of experience as an EDM Operator.
- ITI or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering preferred.
- Candidates with experience in EDM machine operation will be preferred.
- Basic knowledge of engineering drawings and precision measurements.
- Knowledge of measuring instruments such as Vernier caliper and micrometer.
- Good understanding of machining processes and production requirements.
- Willingness to work in a manufacturing/industrial workplace.
