Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Payment Posting Specialist in RCM with over 7 years of experience, located in Chittoor Mandal. The role involves accurately posting insurance and patient payments, adjustments, and refunds into the practice management systems, ensuring timely reconciliation of accounts. The specialist will review explanation of benefits (EOBs), identify posting errors, and resolve discrepancies to reduce denials and improve cash flow.

Daily responsibilities include coordinating with billing and coding teams, communicating with payers and internal stakeholders,



and maintaining compliance with organizational and regulatory guidelines. The role also requires monitoring payment trends, preparing regular reports on posting accuracy and revenue impact, and supporting process improvements across the RCM function.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong analytical skills to review EOBs, identify variances, and interpret payment trends.
- Candidates should possess expertise in payment card processing and healthcare payment posting workflows, including refunds and adjustments.
- Candidates should possess effective communication skills for coordinating with internal teams, payers, and patients, both verbally and in writing.
- Candidates should possess a solid foundation in finance and accounting principles relevant to RCM, reconciliation, and reporting.
- Over 7 years of hands-on experience in payment posting within healthcare RCM, preferably in a high-volume environment.
- Proficiency with RCM and practice management software, and familiarity with insurance plans, EOBs, and denial codes.
- Solid attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work accurately under time constraints.
- Relevant academic background in finance, accounting, business, or a related field; professional certifications in RCM or medical billing are an advantage.
