Position: Consultant – Gastroenterology

Salary: Negotiable, based on experience and expertise

Key Responsibilities

- Provide comprehensive consultation, diagnosis, and treatment for patients with gastrointestinal and hepatobiliary disorders.
- Conduct OPD consultations and manage admitted patients.
- Evaluate and manage complex gastroenterology cases, including liver, pancreatic, intestinal, and gastrointestinal disorders.
- Perform and/or supervise diagnostic and therapeutic GI procedures as per clinical expertise.
- Manage emergency gastroenterology cases and provide timely clinical interventions.
- Coordinate with Internal Medicine, Critical Care, Surgery, Oncology, and other specialties for multidisciplinary patient care.
- Review diagnostic reports, investigations, and formulate appropriate treatment plans.
- Conduct regular clinical rounds and ensure continuity of patient care.




- Provide clinical guidance and supervision to junior doctors and residents.
- Maintain accurate medical records, treatment plans, and clinical documentation.
- Follow hospital protocols, clinical guidelines, patient-safety standards, and NABH requirements.
- Maintain high standards of qualified ethics, patient care, and communication.

Candidate Profile

- DM in Gastroenterology from a recognized institution.
- Minimum 5 years of post-DM experience as a Gastroenterologist.
- Strong clinical expertise in gastroenterology and hepatology.
- Experience in GI endoscopy and therapeutic procedures will be preferred.
- Excellent clinical decision-making, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Candidates with experience in reputed multispecialty/super-specialty hospitals will be preferred.
