Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Record to Report (R2R) Operations Specialist with strong expertise in Account Reconciliations, General Ledger Accounting, Financial Analysis, and Finance Operations.

The role will be aligned with Finance Operations and will support the determination of accurate financial outcomes by collecting and analyzing operational and financial data, reviewing reports, reconciling transactions, and ensuring the accuracy and completeness of financial records.

The ideal candidate should have robust hands-on experience in Account Reconciliations and a good understanding of the Record to Report (R2R) / General Ledger (GL) accounting process.

Key Responsibilities

Account Reconciliations

- Perform and review Account Reconciliations across assigned accounts.
- Reconcile financial transactions and identify discrepancies, mismatches, and outstanding items.
- Investigate reconciliation breaks and coordinate appropriate resolution.
- Perform Balance Sheet Reconciliations, General Ledger Reconciliations, and Sub-ledger to GL Reconciliations.
- Ensure reconciliations are completed accurately and within defined timelines.
- Maintain appropriate supporting documentation and reconciliation records.

Record to Report (R2R) Operations

- Support end-to-end Record to Report (R2R) activities within Finance Operations.
- Work with General Ledger accounts containing summarized information from relevant sub-ledgers.
- Review financial and operational data to ensure completeness and accuracy.
- Support period-end accounting and reporting activities as required.




- Ensure adherence to established accounting procedures, controls, and operational standards.
- Work closely with finance and accounting teams to resolve accounting and reconciliation issues.

Financial Analysis & Problem Solving

- Analyze financial and operational reports to identify discrepancies, trends, and potential issues.
- Handle and resolve moderately complex finance and accounting problems.
- Perform root-cause analysis for recurring reconciliation issues.
- Develop appropriate solutions by leveraging and adapting existing methods and procedures where required.
- Identify opportunities to improve reconciliation accuracy, efficiency, and process effectiveness.

Stakeholder Management

- Collaborate with internal Finance, Operations, and Accounting teams.
- Interact with peers, management, and client stakeholders as required.
- Communicate reconciliation issues, risks, dependencies, and resolution status clearly to relevant stakeholders.
- Understand business priorities and align finance deliverables with broader team and organizational objectives.

Process Improvement & Team Support

- Identify opportunities for process improvement, standardization, and automation within R2R and reconciliation processes.
- Support implementation of improved processes, controls, and working practices.
- Work independently on assigned responsibilities with appropriate guidance for new or complex assignments.




- Support small teams and/or finance workstreams depending on business requirements.
- Ensure high standards of accuracy, quality, compliance, and timely delivery.
