Role Overview:

n

Head – Pre-Primary: This is a multi-functional role combining Curriculum Writing, Subject

n

Matter Expertise (SME), and Teacher Training for the Pre-Primary segment (Nursery, LKG

n

and UKG). This role requires a deep understanding of early childhood education, curriculum

n

design, pedagogy and classroom dynamics, together with the ability to train, mentor and

n

inspire pre-primary educators, ensuring that both the curriculum and its classroom delivery

n

are developmentally appropriate, engaging and effective.

n

Roles and Responsibilities

n

1. Plan and create learning material for Nursery, LKG and UKG students.

n

2. Write age-appropriate lesson plans, worksheets, activities, stories and assessments.

n

3. Prepare content for books, classroom use and digital learning platforms.

n

4. Advise on how young children learn best, applying sound early-childhood pedagogy.

n

5. Ensure the curriculum aligns with standards such as NCF 2022, NEP 2020,

n

Montessori, EYFS or IB PYP.

n

6. Review the work of other writers to ensure it suits children's age and learning level.

n

7. Stay current with global early-childhood teaching approaches and ideas.

n

8. Help integrate different subjects (such as language and math) so they work well

n

together.

n

9. Design and conduct training sessions for pre-primary teachers.

n

10. Train teachers in classroom management, lesson delivery and tracking student

n

progress.

n

11. Lead workshops, online sessions and model lessons to improve teaching quality.

n

Observe classes and provide constructive feedback to guide teachers.

n

13. Write easy manuals and guides to help teachers use the curriculum effectively.

n

14. Train teachers in methods for including children with different learning needs.

Skills/Expertise

n

1. Passion for working with young children and supporting early-years educators.

n

2. Strong organisational and project management abilities.

n

3. Creativity in content development and training delivery.

n

4. Familiarity with ed-tech tools, LMS platforms and digital teaching aids.

n

5. Ability to work collaboratively with academic, creative and operational teams.

Qualifications and Experience

n

1. Master's degree in Early Childhood Education, Education, or Child Psychology.

n

2. 10+ years of experience in early childhood education.

n

3. Prior experience in academic leadership, teacher mentorship or school coordination.

n

4. Proficient in creating engaging content and delivering impactful training sessions.

n

5. Preferred: Certifications in Montessori, Reggio Emilia, Waldorf, or Finland-based

n

early-childhood methodologies.

n

6. Preferred: Experience with CBSE, ICSE or international curricula (EYFS, IB PYP).

n

7. Preferred: Exposure to inclusive education and differentiated instruction.

n
