Job Summary:

n

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Piping Design Engineer with 2-4 years of experience in piping design, preferably within the maritime or offshore industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of maritime standards, piping design codes, and the requirements of classification societies.

Key Responsibilities:

n

- Design and develop piping systems for marine vessels and offshore platforms.
n
- Prepare piping layouts, isometric drawings, and material take-offs.
n
- Ensure designs comply with applicable maritime standards and classification society regulations (e.g., DNV, ABS, LR, IRS).
n
- Collaborate with structural and mechanical teams to ensure integration of systems.
n




- Support in preparing technical documentation and design calculations.
n
- Conduct 3D modeling and review using industry-standard tools.
n
- Assist in design reviews, approval processes, and client meetings when required.
n

Required Qualifications & Skills:

n

n
- Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
n
- Minimum 3-5 years of hands-on experience in piping design.
n
- Solid understanding of maritime standards and classification society requirements (e.g., DNV, ABS, LR).
n
- In-depth knowledge of piping standards, materials, and marine equipment.
n
- Proficient in engineering drawing interpretation and specification development.
n
- Excellent communication and team collaboration skills.
n
- Mandatory software proficiency: AutoCAD Plant 3D, Navisworks Manage, AutoCAD 2D.
n
- Familiarity with shipyard processes, newbuilds, or retrofit projects.
