Being a Manufacturing Engineer to Design, optimize, and manage integrated systems of people, materials, equipment, and process to enhance productivity, quality, cost efficiency, and delivery performance in seal manufacturing operations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Basic Knowledge of CAD/CAM proficiency is required
n
- Cutting tools planning
n
- Process plan for new parts
n

n

Production System Design:

n

n
- CNC programming for machining
n
- Layout design for high‐mix, low‐volume products
n
- Value Stream Mapping for standard vs. engineered‐to‐order products
n
- Line balancing from raw material to finished part
n
- Reduction of WIP across processes
n

n

Capacity & Planning:

n

n
- Capacity modelling for bottleneck operations
n
- Standardization of setup and cycle times
n
- Time & motion studies
n
- ROI analysis for current investments
n

n

Lean & Continuous Improvement:

n

n
- Kaizen events for setup reduction in small‐batch lots
n




- SMED (Single Minute Exchange of Dies) implementation
n
- Tooling & fixture standardization across machining
n
- OEE tracking on critical machines
n
- Scrap/rework analysis and automation solutions for high‐volume products
n

n

Ergonomics, 5S & Safety:

n

n
- Ergonomic cell/machine layout design
n
- Material handling automation/simplification
n
- Implementation of 5S and safety practices
n

n

Quality Systems & Data Exposure:

n

n
- Statistical analysis/SPC for critical dimensions
n
- Preparation of process flow, control plan & PFMEA
n

n

Supply Chain Facilitation – Factory consumables & Tools:

n

n
- Control of consumable expenditure within targets
n
- Kanban system implementation for high‐movement consumables
n
- Safety stock management based on ROL, MOQ & lead time
n
