2. Job Purpose

Annapurna Finance Pvt. Ltd. (AFPL) was established with the objective of uplifting economically weaker sections by providing need-based financial services at their doorstep. Beyond financial products, the company is committed to enhancing entrepreneurial capabilities through financial and technical support.

The Zonal Manager plays a pivotal leadership role in driving business growth, maintaining portfolio quality, and ensuring operational excellence within the assigned region.

Key Roles:

2.1 Lead and develop the zonal team to achieve business targets and maintain high portfolio quality.

2.2 Drive business expansion, ensure compliance, and strengthen relationships with clients, stakeholders, and partners.

3. Key Responsibilities

3.1 Plan, implement, and monitor operational processes to improve regional productivity and efficiency.

3.2 Drive and oversee new initiatives aimed at enhancing regional performance and business sustainability.





3.3 Maintain excellent portfolio quality while minimizing risks.

3.4 Ensure income generation as per business plan targets.

3.5 Achieve top-line and bottom-line goals on a quarterly and annual basis.

3.6 Monitor, optimize, and control operational expenses within the region.

3.7 Ensure 100% compliance with audit standards and statutory regulations.

3.8 Manage staff transfers, deputations, and manpower planning as per organizational needs.

3.9 Oversee performance management, promotions, and disciplinary actions in consultation with HO–HR.

3.10 Coordinate with Operations and HR to monitor leave management and payroll processes.

3.11 Ensure 100% adherence to labour laws within the region.

3.12 Monitor and ensure accurate and timely accounting practices at all branch locations.

3.13 Oversee infrastructure, facilities, utilities, and overall upkeep of branches and regional offices.

3.14 Manage end-to-end branch opening processes, including registrations, agreements, bank account setup, and statutory register maintenance.

5. Educational Qualification

5.1 Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.

6. Experience Requirements

6.1 Minimum 10 years of experience in the Microfinance or Banking sector.

6.2 Must have prior experience managing 22–25 branches.
