CONTRACT OPPORTUNITY

We are seeking an experienced Workday Integration Consultant to design, build, and support integrations between Workday and ServiceNow. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Workday integration technologies, ServiceNow integration capabilities, APIs, middleware, and enterprise HR processes.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain integrations between Workday and ServiceNow.

- Build Workday integrations using Workday Studio, Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB), Core Connectors, Report-as-a-Service (RaaS), and Workday Web Services.

- Configure ServiceNow integrations using IntegrationHub, Flow Designer, REST/SOAP APIs, scripted REST services, import sets, transform maps, and MID Server where required.

- Integrate Workday HCM data with ServiceNow modules such as HR Service Delivery, IT Service Management, Identity and Access Management, and employee onboarding/offboarding.

- Translate business requirements into secure, scalable technical designs and integration specifications.

- Develop inbound and outbound integrations supporting employee, organisation, position, job, location, manager, and lifecycle-event data.

- Implement authentication and security controls using OAuth 2.0, certificates, integration system users, and role-based access.

- Perform data mapping, transformation, validation, reconciliation, error handling, and monitoring.

- Troubleshoot integration failures, identify root causes, and provide production support.

- Create technical documentation, test scripts, deployment plans, support guides, and operational runbooks.

- Collaborate with HR, IT, security, identity-management teams, Workday specialists, ServiceNow developers, vendors, and business stakeholders.

- Follow change-management, release-management, data-protection,



and software-development lifecycle standards.

Required Skills and Experience

- Proven experience developing Workday integrations in a production environment.

- Hands-on experience building integrations on the ServiceNow platform.

- Strong knowledge of Workday HCM business objects, security, calculated fields, and custom reports.

- Experience with Workday Studio, EIB, Core Connectors, RaaS, REST APIs, SOAP APIs, XML, XSLT, JSON, and web services.

- Experience with ServiceNow IntegrationHub, Flow Designer, REST/SOAP integrations, import sets, transform maps, scripting, and scheduled data imports.

- Positive understanding of employee lifecycle processes, including hire, transfer, promotion, leave, termination, onboarding, and offboarding.

- Strong knowledge of integration patterns, data mapping, exception handling, logging, monitoring, and reconciliation.

- Experience with secure authentication methods such as OAuth 2.0, mutual TLS, certificates, and service accounts.

- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.

- Ability to work independently and deliver integrations from requirements through production support.

Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.

- Typically five or more years of enterprise integration experience, including substantial hands-on experience with Workday and ServiceNow.

- Accurate and timely synchronisation of employee and organisational data.

- Low failure rates and fast resolution of production issues.

- Complete technical documentation and effective operational handover.
