The opportunity: XFactr .AI is looking for a skilled Windchill Administrator to support and manage PLM systems for enterprise-scale engineering environments. The role involves administering, configuring, and maintaining the Windchill platform to ensure seamless product lifecycle management and collaboration across engineering teams.

Responsibilities

- Administer and maintain the PTC Windchill PLM system to ensure stability and optimal performance.

- Manage user roles, access controls, and system configurations within the Windchill workplace.

- Support engineering teams with product data management, version control, and workflow processes.

- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues related to Windchill applications and integrations.

- Configure and maintain workflows, lifecycle states, and change management processes.

- Coordinate with IT teams, developers, and business users for system enhancements and upgrades.

- Perform regular system maintenance, backups, and patch management.

- Document system configurations, processes, and support procedures.

Requirements

- Windchill Administration: 4+ years of experience as a Windchill Administrator or PLM Administrator.

- PTC Windchill:



Strong knowledge of PTC Windchill PLM platform administration and configuration.

- User Workflow Management: Experience with user management, workflows, and lifecycle management in Windchill.

- Systems Databases: Familiarity with database concepts, system monitoring, and server administration.

- PLM Processes: Understanding of product lifecycle management (PLM) processes.

- Enterprise Engineering: Experience working in enterprise engineering environments.

Additional Advantage

- Experience with Windchill upgrades, customizations, or integrations.

- Knowledge of Java, scripting, or system automation tools.

- Familiarity with CAD integrations such as Creo or other engineering tools.

- Exposure to DevOps or cloud-based infrastructure environments.
