Role Description The Welfare Officer is a full-time, on-site role based in Mundra, responsible for promoting the well-being and engagement of personnel at the facility.

Responsibilities include implementing welfare programs, addressing employee concerns, and facilitating access to social services and support resources. The role involves organizing training and awareness sessions on health, safety, and benefits, and coordinating recreational and community-building activities.

The Welfare

Officer will also conduct interviews and discussions with personnel to understand needs, assist with recruitment-related welfare checks where required, and maintain accurate records and reports. Collaboration with HR, management, and external agencies is essential to ensure compliance with applicable welfare regulations and to foster a protected, inclusive, and supportive work environment.

Qualifications





- Welfare and Social Services skills to design, implement, and monitor employee welfare initiatives and support programs.
- Training experience to plan and conduct orientation, awareness, and development sessions related to welfare, health, and safety.
- Interviewing and Recruiting skills to engage with personnel, gather feedback, and support hiring processes from a welfare perspective.
- Knowledge of labor welfare laws, industrial relations, and statutory requirements relevant to welfare functions.
- Strong communication, listening, and conflict-resolution abilities, with a focus on empathy and professionalism.
- Ability to work on-site in Mundra, build trust with diverse workforce groups, and collaborate effectively with HR and operations teams.
- Proficiency in basic office software and report writing, with the capability to maintain accurate documentation and records.
