- 100% UT / RT weld requirements
- WPS, PQR & WPQ reading and application
- Welding symbols and blueprint/drawing reading
- DPT and basic NDT knowledge
- Welding machine setting and parameter control
- Knowledge of SS, MS, carbon content and other materials
- Welding equipment handling, maintenance and safety practices
- Knowledge of ASME, IBR, API and ASNT standards
- Basic understanding of Lean Manufacturing, 5S, 6 Sigma, Kaizen and Kanban
- Manufacturing process flow, tack welding and sequence planning
- Focus on Right First Time, quality, productivity and on-time delivery
