This position will be part of a 20 member AEBC India Controllership team, which will require dotted line reporting in a matrix setting.

This is a key position in American Express Banking Corp., India Controllership team, will report into Financial Analyst for Controllership functions.

Responsibilities

American Express Banking Corp. (“AEBC”) India is a banking entity regulated by Reserve Bank of India (RBI) which carries out the India Card business.

This position will be part of a 20 member AEBC India Controllership team, which will require dotted line reporting in a matrix environment & Job profile and mix will continue to change in order to develop the individual according to external developments, interest / demonstrated capability of individual, departmental focus, projects etc.

This is a key position in American Express Banking Corp., India Controllership team,



will report into Financial Analyst and assist with the following processes:

- Preparation of returns and statements filed with RBI in accordance with the RBI guidelines.
- Perform daily and month end accounting entries ensuring compliance to relevant RBI reporting and India GAAP accounting rules.
- Preparation of inputs required for RBI inspection and Statutory Audit.
- Variance analysis and business commentaries for the AEBC Governance Committees and Senior Management.
- Prepare and submit monthly/quarterly submissions to External & Regulatory Reporting

Qualifications

The minimum qualification required is graduation in commerce with 1-2 years of relevant experience. An MBA, post graduate, CA (Inter) would be given preference
