Job Title: Utility Manager

Industry: Textile Manufacturing

Experience: 10 to 20 Years

Location: Manufacturing Unit / Textile Mill The candidate should have extensive experience in handling Transformers, DG Sets (Generators), Solar Power Systems, Electrical Distribution Networks, Compressors, Water Management Systems, and Energy Conservation Initiatives

Key ResponsibilitiesPower & Electrical Utilities

- Manage operation and maintenance of HT/LT electrical systems.
- Oversee transformers, switchyards, substations, panels, and power distribution systems.
- Ensure reliable operation of DG generators and backup power systems.
- Monitor power quality and minimize downtime.

Solar Power Management
- Handle solar power plant operations and maintenance.
- Monitor solar generation efficiency and performance.
- Coordinate with vendors for preventive and corrective maintenance.
- Analyze solar energy utilization and savings.

Energy Management
- Identify and implement energy-saving projects.
- Monitor plant energy consumption and utility costs.
- Conduct energy audits and recommend improvement initiatives.
- Drive sustainability and renewable energy projects.

Utility Operations
- Manage compressors, water pumps, cooling systems, and other utility equipment.
- Ensure uninterrupted supply of utilities to production departments.




- Develop preventive maintenance schedules and monitor execution.

Team Management
- Lead utility engineers, electricians, and maintenance teams.
- Allocate work and monitor performance.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and operational procedures.

Compliance & Safety
- Ensure compliance with electrical safety regulations and statutory requirements.
- Coordinate inspections by electrical authorities and utility providers.
- Maintain all utility-related records and documentation.

Required Qualifications
- BE / B.Tech in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
- Additional certification in Energy Management will be an advantage.

Experience Requirements
- 10 to 20 years of experience in utility operations within the textile or manufacturing industry.
