About the role – what you will be doing in our team
- Acting as a subject matter expert on attack vulnerability/attack surface management (ASM).
- Identifying areas for improvement that will decrease the Group’s attack surface including promoting secure by design principles and practices.
- Maintaining and executing vulnerability scans for group assets.
- Scoping and coordinating security testing activities (penetration testing, red teaming, purple teaming) with third party suppliers.
- Producing management information such as reports and dashboards that can be used to measure the group’s risk profile and identify key areas of focus.
- Working with internal teams to ensure patching schedules and remediation timelines are adhered to.
- Stakeholder management, acting as the liaison between our internal teams and our external parties to ensure effective management of our ASM services.
- Management and maintenance of vulnerability platforms/tools/services including triage and resolution of technical problems.
- Monitoring for new vulnerabilities and producing assessment reports including recommendations for risk reduction.
- Working with the Cyber Threat Intelligence team to identify and prioritise vulnerabilities.
- Helping to design defining metrics, reports, and dashboards from multiple sources of data to provide actionable information to key stakeholders.
- Contribute to security policies, standards,
and guidelines to ensure that security best practice is applied across the company.
- Monitoring for new vulnerabilities and producing assessment reports including recommendations for risk reduction.
- Staying current with new vulnerabilities and tactics, techniques and procedures used by threat actors.
- Other duties as assigned.

- A passion for cyber security and a willingness to learn, ask questions and share knowledge.
- A positive understanding of cloud technologies such as Azure and AWS.
- An understanding of the MITRE ATT&CK; framework.
- Ability to manage multiple attack surface management tools and services.
- Experience in the production and delivery of management information and reports,
- Experience of working with multiple third parties to achieve a positive outcome.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks with competing priorities.
