ProductFlo.ai is looking for a founding VP – Technology to own the technology strategy, architecture and engineering direction of the company. This is a hands-on leadership opportunity for someone who wants to build an AI-native SaaS platform from an early stage and play a significant role in shaping the technology organization.

The Role

Own the technology vision and engineering strategy for ProductFlo.ai, translating the product vision into a scalable, secure, AI-native SaaS platform.

What You’ll Do

- Own the technology roadmap, architecture and engineering standards.
- Partner with the founder/product leadership to convert the product roadmap into technical strategy and executable milestones.
- Own architecture across frontend/backend services, databases, AI/LLM services, integrations, infrastructure, security and observability.
- Lead the evolution from the current MVP toward a scalable production-grade SaaS platform.
- Define the AI/ML architecture covering RAG, agentic workflows, model selection, evaluation, guardrails, inference and AI cost management.
- Establish engineering practices for code quality, testing, CI/CD, release management, documentation and technical debt.
- Own technical strategy for integrations such as Figma, Jira, Asana, Notion,



Miro and Microsoft Teams.
- Build and mentor the engineering team and define future hiring requirements.
- Establish appropriate security, privacy, reliability and compliance practices.
- Evaluate cloud infrastructure, LLM providers, AI tooling and technology vendors with a strong focus on product quality and unit economics.
- Participate in product reviews, customer conversations and fundraising discussions where technical leadership is required.

What We’re Looking For

- 10 years of software engineering/technology experience with meaningful architecture and technical leadership experience.
- Strong experience building SaaS products from early-stage/MVP through production.
- Strong understanding of modern web architecture, APIs, distributed systems, databases, cloud infrastructure and CI/CD.
- Robust understanding of AI/GenAI application architecture, including LLMs, RAG, vector search, embeddings, agentic systems and evaluation.
- Experience leading engineers and making architecture decisions in ambiguous, fast-moving environments.
- Ability to balance speed, product requirements, technical debt, reliability and cost.
- Strong product mindset and ability to explain technical decisions in business terms.




- Comfort operating in a pre-funded startup where ownership and execution matter more than hierarchy.

Nice to Have

- Experience with AWS, GCP or Azure and modern infrastructure practices.
- Experience with LLMOps/MLOps, AI evaluation and production AI observability.
- Experience with multi-tenant SaaS, enterprise security, SSO/RBAC and auditability.
- Prior startup founding-team or zero-to-one experience.

Compensation: Equity-based.

ProductFlo.ai is currently pre-funded and is not offering a salary at this stage. The selected candidate will receive equity participation, with the percentage, vesting and other terms agreed separately. This is intended as a founding-team-level opportunity with significant ownership of the product direction.
