The candidate will be responsible for providing excellent table service, ensuring guest satisfaction, and maintaining high standards of hospitality throughout the guest experience. Key ResponsibilitiesWelcome and greet guests warmly upon arrival.

Present menus and explain food and beverage items to guests. Take accurate food and beverage orders and communicate them clearly to the kitchen/bar team. Serve food and beverages professionally and promptly.

Understand menu ingredients, preparation methods, portion sizes, and recommendations. Suggest dishes, beverages, desserts, and add-ons based on guest preferences. Ensure tables are properly set, clean, and ready for guests.

Regularly check on guests during their meal and respond promptly to requests. Handle guest questions, feedback, and complaints professionally. Coordinate with the kitchen, bar, cashier, and other service team members.

Ensure correct billing and assist guests with payment when required. Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the dining and service areas. Follow restaurant SOPs for service, hygiene, grooming, and guest handling.

Assist with opening and closing duties, including cleaning and table setup. Support the team during busy periods, events, and special occasions.

Preferred

QualificationsPrevious experience in a café, restaurant, hotel, or hospitality environment. Knowledge of table service and restaurant etiquette.

Experience with POS/billing systems will be an advantage. Candidates with hospitality/hotel-management education may be preferred. Grooming & Behaviour StandardsThe selected candidate is expected to maintain: Clean and well-groomed appearance.

Proper uniform and personal hygiene. Polite and respectful communication with guests and colleagues. Positive body language and professional conduct. No arguments or inappropriate behaviour in front of guests.
