Job Responsibilities

- Operate and monitor VMC (Vertical Machining Center) machines as per production requirements.

- Set up machines, tools, fixtures, and workpieces according to drawings and job specifications.

- Read and understand engineering drawings, dimensions, tolerances, and machining instructions.

- Load and execute CNC programs and make necessary offset and parameter adjustments.

- Perform tool setting, tool changes, workpiece loading/unloading, and machine alignment.

- Check finished components using Vernier caliper, micrometer, height gauge, and other measuring instruments.

- Ensure components are manufactured within specified dimensions and tolerances.

- Monitor machining processes and identify tool wear, machine issues, and quality problems.

- Maintain proper production records, inspection reports, and machine-related documentation.

- Follow safety procedures, housekeeping standards, and preventive maintenance requirements.





- Coordinate with the Production, Quality, and Maintenance teams to achieve production targets.

- Minimize material wastage, machine downtime, and rejection rates.

Required Skills

- Experience operating VMC/CNC machining machines.

- Knowledge of G-code, M-code, tool offsets, work offsets, and CNC controls.

- Ability to read engineering drawings and GD&T;.

- Knowledge of cutting tools, machining parameters, and basic troubleshooting.

- Experience with measuring and inspection instruments.

- Positive understanding of production and quality requirements.

- Ability to work in shifts and meet production targets.

- Good attention to detail and safety awareness.

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month

Experience

- VMC Machine : 3 years (Preferred)
