Job Responsibilities

- Operate and monitor VMC (Vertical Machining Centre) machines.

- Read and understand engineering drawings and machining dimensions.

- Set and operate VMC machines as per production requirements.

- Perform tool setting, offset correction and tool changes.

- Check component dimensions using Vernier Caliper, Micrometer, Height Gauge and other measuring instruments.

- Maintain required quality standards and production targets.

- Identify basic machine/tooling issues and report abnormalities to the supervisor.

- Maintain proper housekeeping and follow 5S, safety and quality procedures.

- Record production, rejection and inspection details.

- Follow work instructions and maintain machine cleanliness.

Skills Required

- Knowledge of VMC machine operation and CNC machining.

- Ability to read engineering drawings.

- Knowledge of measuring instruments.

- Basic understanding of G-code / M-code is preferred.

- Knowledge of cutting tools, inserts and tool offsets.

- Good discipline and willingness to work in shifts.

Pay: ₹15,156.48 - ₹29,951.24 per month
