SOCX Media is looking for a Video Editor who can independently handle content from shooting to final delivery.

Responsibilities

- Shoot high-quality Reels, short-form videos, interviews, podcasts and brand content
- Operate cameras and manage framing, focus, exposure, composition and camera settings
- Set up and handle lights, tripods, microphones and basic audio equipment
- Plan shots, angles and B-roll based on the content requirement
- Edit raw footage into engaging, platform-ready videos for Instagram, YouTube and other social platforms
- Add captions, transitions, music, sound effects, motion graphics and basic color correction
- Create multiple edits/formats from the same shoot when required
- Organize and manage raw footage, project files and final exports




- Work with the content team to understand briefs and execute the required visual style
- Ensure videos are delivered on time and ready for publishing

Requirements
- Proven video editing experience
- Hands-on camera operation experience is mandatory
- Good understanding of lighting, audio, framing and visual storytelling
- Proficiency in tools such as Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro or similar
- Solid sense of pacing and social-media content trends
- Ability to independently manage both shooting + editing
