Role Description The Video Editor Intern — Unpaid will support the creation and refinement of video content for digital and marketing initiatives. This internship role is remote, allowing the intern to collaborate online with the creative and technical teams. Day-to-day tasks include editing raw footage, applying basic color correction and transitions, adding motion graphics or titles, and preparing final exports optimized for various platforms.

The intern will help organize media assets, maintain project file structures, and ensure that videos align with brand guidelines and messaging. This role also offers opportunities to contribute ideas to storyboards,



experiment with new editing techniques, and learn how video supports product, marketing, and engineering storytelling.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess skills in Video Production and Graphics for planning shots, understanding visual composition, and creating supporting visual elements.
- Candidates should possess skills in Video Editing and Video Color Grading for assembling footage, refining pacing, and achieving consistent visual tone.
- Candidates should possess skills in Motion Graphics for designing simple animations, titles, and on-screen elements that enhance viewer engagement.
- Basic familiarity with video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, or similar) and graphic tools (e.g., After Effects, Photoshop, or equivalent) is beneficial.
- Strong attention to detail, time management, and the ability to follow creative briefs and brand guidelines are important.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills and comfort working in a remote, collaborative workplace are preferred.
- Currently enrolled in or recently completed a program related to media, film, design, or a related field is an advantage but not mandatory.
