We are hiring for a growing marketing and media organisation focused on creating engaging, high-quality digital content and delivering measurable results across modern marketing, advertising, and media channels.

Job Summary

We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor who can transform raw footage, ideas, and creative briefs into engaging video content. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience editing both short-form and long-form videos for social media, digital campaigns, brands, and other marketing platforms.

Key Responsibilities

- Edit short-form content such as Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and social media videos
- Edit long-form content including YouTube videos, interviews, podcasts, promotional videos, and brand films
- Work with raw footage, graphics, music, voiceovers, and other assets to create polished videos
- Understand creative briefs and translate concepts into visually engaging content
- Add appropriate transitions, text, subtitles, motion graphics, music, sound effects, and basic colour correction
- Repurpose long-form content into multiple short-form videos for social media
- Collaborate with the marketing, creative, and content teams to meet campaign requirements
- Maintain consistency in visual style, branding, pacing, and overall video quality
- Organise project files, footage, assets, and final deliverables efficiently
- Stay updated with current video trends, editing styles, formats,



and social media content

- Strong sense of visual storytelling, pacing, composition, and timing
- Good understanding of social media video formats and audience engagement
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain quality under deadlines
- Creative approach to editing and content presentation
- Ability to understand feedback and make revisions efficiently
- Good communication and ability to work collaboratively
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet timelines

Technical Skills
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Premiere Pro and After Effects, or DaVinci
- Knowledge of Photoshop and Illustrator will be an advantage
- Understanding of basic motion graphics, colour correction, audio editing, and subtitles
- Familiarity with Instagram, YouTube, and other digital video platforms
- Knowledge of current short-form video trends and formats

Qualifications & Experience
- 6 Months – 2 Years of professional or relevant hands-on experience in video editing
- Degree/diploma in Film, Media, Mass Communication, Animation, Design, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory
- Candidates with a strong portfolio and practical editing skills may be considered irrespective of academic background
- Experience working with marketing agencies, media companies, content creators, or brands is preferred
