We are looking for a skilled and creative Video Editor to join our team. You’ll be responsible for turning raw footage and creative concepts into engaging, polished, and high-quality videos for social media and digital platforms.

The ideal candidate has a good eye for pacing, storytelling, transitions, audio, and visual quality, and can take feedback positively while consistently delivering work on time.

Responsibilities

- Edit raw footage into engaging, polished, and platform-ready videos.
- Trim, arrange, and structure footage to create a smooth flow and strong storytelling.
- Enhance video and audio quality using professional editing tools.
- Add appropriate transitions, effects, text, graphics, and animations where required.
- Edit short-form content such as Reels, Shorts, and other social media videos.
- Collaborate with the creative and social media team to execute content ideas.
- Understand creative briefs and translate them into effective visual content.
- Make revisions based on feedback from the team and clients.
- Maintain consistency in editing style, quality, and brand guidelines across different projects.
- Manage multiple videos and meet assigned deadlines consistently.

Requirements

- Good command of video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or similar tools.
- Strong understanding of video editing fundamentals, including pacing, transitions, audio, colour correction, and visual storytelling.




- Good sense of composition, timing, and attention to detail.
- Ability to understand and execute creative direction.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to different editing styles and brand requirements.
- Good communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to manage deadlines and deliver work consistently.
- Previous experience in video editing through freelance work, internships, personal projects, or professional roles is preferred but not mandatory.
- A portfolio or examples of previous work are highly desirable.

Compensation & Work Terms

- This is a full time/part-time salaried position, depending on the final working arrangement discussed during the hiring process.
- The role includes a 2-week paid probation period.
- The probation period is intended for both the candidate and the company to understand the working style, expectations, communication, and overall culture fit.
- Upon successful completion of the probation period, the position will continue based on mutual agreement and performance.
