Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Video Editor role based in Gurugram.

The Video

Editor will manage the end-to-end post-production process, including editing raw footage into polished videos aligned with DegreeFYD’s brand and content objectives.

Responsibilities include collaborating with content, marketing, and product teams to understand narrative requirements, structuring storylines, and adding appropriate transitions, effects, and audio elements. The role involves performing color correction and grading, integrating motion graphics and static graphics,



and optimizing videos for various digital platforms.

The Video

Editor will also maintain organized project files, adhere to timelines, and contribute creative ideas to enhance learner engagement.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong skills in Video Production and Video Editing.
- Candidates should possess skills in Video Color Grading and basic color correction workflows.
- Candidates should possess skills in Motion Graphics and Graphics creation for educational and marketing content.
- Proficiency in standard video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve) and motion graphics tools (e.g., After Effects) is beneficial.
- Robust visual storytelling abilities, attention to detail, and an understanding of digital and social media formats are preferred.
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment is expected.
- Relevant education or certification in film, media, design, or a related field is an advantage; prior experience in education or startup environments is a plus.
