Validation Engineer, ADAS & Connectivity

EXPERIENCE 6–8 yrs

LOCATION Chennai

Role purpose - Validate connected-car and ADAS functions end to end, from bench ECU and T-Box to cloud, app and test vehicle.

Key responsibilities

- Write test plans and cases with traceability for CVIP connected features and ADAS functions
- Test T-Box to cloud messaging, vehicle activation, eSIM activation and OTA updates
- Validate tracking, geofence, theft and tow alerts, crash notification, e-call / b-call, remote functions, EV battery
- Validate ADAS (LDW, FCW, AEB, blind spot, parking) on SiL / HiL rigs and in vehicle
- Test Android / iOS apps and portals, including interoperability
- Analyse CAN / Ethernet and cloud logs; track defects in Jira to closure
- Automate regression tests (Python, CAPL); report status and quality KPIs daily.

Must-have skills

- HiL / SiL, bench and vehicle testing
- CANoe / CANalyzer, CAPL, dSPACE or NI, Python
- CAN, CAN FD, LIN, Automotive Ethernet, UDS
- 4G, MQTT, GNSS, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi; Postman
- One engineer ADAS-focused, one connectivity-focused

Positive to have

- ISO 26262, ASPICE, ISO/SAE 21434
- NCAP ADAS protocols; CarMaker / PreScan
- Jira, Zephyr, Polarion
