Job Title: U.S. Tax Intern

Small World Business Advisors (SWBA) is looking for a motivated U.S. Tax Intern to join our U.S. Tax team. This internship will provide practical exposure to U.S. federal and state taxation, tax research, compliance, and tax advisory matters. The ideal candidate should have a strong interest in U.S. taxation, excellent research skills, and a willingness to learn in a professional, client-focused setting.

Responsibilities:

- Research U.S. tax laws, regulations, IRS guidance, and recent legislative developments, and prepare clear summaries of your findings
- Assist in preparing U.S. federal and state tax returns
- Support tax compliance and documentation
- Prepare working papers and supporting documentation
- Assist with tax planning and advisory assignments, including M&A; and cross-border projects

Qualifications

- Currently pursuing or recently completed a law degree (LL.B. or integrated LL.B.), CA,



CMA, EA, CPA, or a related qualification
- Strong interest in U.S. and international taxation
- Good analytical, research, and written communication skills
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Office
- Familiarity with tax research tools or U.S. tax software is a plus
- Prior U.S. tax coursework or research exposure is a plus

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
