Role Description The University Partnership – Probono role is a volunteer, remote position focused on building and managing strategic relationships with universities and academic institutions. On a day-to-day basis, the individual will identify potential university partners, conduct outreach, and coordinate meetings to present HackHalt’s mission, programs, and collaboration opportunities. The role involves co-developing partnership proposals, supporting the design of joint initiatives such as workshops, training sessions, and research collaborations, and maintaining continuous communication with university stakeholders.





Responsibilities also include tracking partnership outcomes, preparing simple reports, and sharing insights to improve engagement strategies. This role offers experience in strategic partnerships within the cybersecurity and education ecosystem, while contributing directly to HackHalt’s global impact.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong analytical skills to assess partnership opportunities, interpret data, and support informed decision-making.
- Candidates should possess communication skills to conduct skilled outreach, present ideas clearly, and maintain relationships with university stakeholders.
- Candidates should possess partnerships and strategic partnerships skills to design, manage, and grow collaborations with universities and academic networks.
- Candidates should possess sales-related skills to pitch initiatives, secure participation in programs, and encourage long-term engagement.
- Additional beneficial qualifications include interest or background in cybersecurity or digital safety, experience working with educational institutions, and the ability to collaborate in diverse, cross-cultural environments.
- Strong organizational skills, reliability in a remote volunteer setting, and proficiency with common digital communication and collaboration tools are highly valuable.
