Role Overview

We are looking for a Travel Consultant to own end-to-end itinerary planning for road trip and sightseeing packages. You will work closely with travel agents to design compelling, seamless ground travel experiences for their travellers globally, while coordinating with internal operations teams and cab vendors to ensure smooth execution within defined turnaround times and quality standards.

The role demands a sharp eye for detail, a strong sense of ownership, and the ability to translate customer goals into well-structured travel plans.

Key Responsibilities

Roadtrip Itinerary Planning

- Design customised, day-wise road trip itineraries covering destinations, sightseeing, transfers, routing, and logical flow, tailored to each traveller's preferences, budget, duration, and travel goals
- Research destinations, routes, seasonal factors, and ground-level logistics to ensure feasibility and quality
- Manage multiple itinerary requests simultaneously, handling revisions accurately while adhering to turnaround timelines
- Maintain a library of standardised itinerary templates that agents can customise
- Track market trends, competitor packages,



and agent feedback to continuously refine offerings

Vendor and Stakeholder Coordination

- Liaise with ground vendors, DMCs, and transport suppliers to obtain rates, availability, and operational details
- Coordinate closely with internal operations teams to ensure accurate handover and smooth execution of travel plans
- Support the sales team with destination knowledge, customisation requests, and agent queries
- Address pre-travel queries and provide clear guidance for a hassle-free customer experience

Process and Quality

- Adhere to defined SOPs, documentation standards, and internal product guidelines at all times
- Proactively identify gaps in itinerary flows and customer handling processes
- Share structured feedback with product and operations teams to improve offerings and workflows
- Actively contribute to improving turnaround times, quality benchmarks, and customer satisfaction

What We're Looking For

- Experience in the tours and travel industry with a strong focus on road trip or FIT itinerary planning
- Strong destination knowledge across major European countries and familiarity with Southeast Asia is a plus
- Prior experience working with travel agencies, DMCs, ground vendors, or cab/transfer suppliers
- Ability to plan practical, time-realistic itineraries accounting for travel distances, traffic, and local nuances
- Excellent communication, coordination, and customer-handling skills with a high degree of empathy and professionalism
- Proficiency in Excel, email tools, and internal operational platforms
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in documentation
- High resilience and comfort with ambiguity in a dynamic startup environment
- Based in Mumbai and available for a full-time work-from-office role
