Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Transmission Line Surveyor role based in Udaipur.

The Transmission Line

Surveyor will conduct field surveys for transmission line routes, including topographical surveys, route alignment, and profiling using appropriate instruments and methods. The role involves collecting and validating survey data, preparing survey reports, sketches, and drawings, and coordinating with engineering and project teams to support design and execution. The Surveyor will ensure adherence to safety standards, land acquisition guidelines, and regulatory requirements while working at project sites.

Day-to-day responsibilities also include maintaining survey equipment, documenting work progress, and supporting resolution of route-related technical issues.

Qualifications

- Strong proficiency in transmission line and topographical surveying, including route alignment and profiling.
- Hands-on experience with survey instruments (e.g., Total Station, GPS,



DGPS) and related software tools.
- Ability to prepare transparent survey drawings, sketches, and reports for use by design and project execution teams.
- Knowledge of relevant standards, land acquisition processes, and regulatory requirements for transmission projects.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to accuracy, detail, and data integrity.
- Effective communication and coordination skills for working with multidisciplinary site and engineering teams.
- Willingness to work in field conditions, travel to project locations, and follow all health, safety, and environmental practices.
- Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering, Surveying, or a related discipline; prior experience in transmission line or infrastructure projects is an advantage.
