SouthIndian Routes is looking for a Tour Consultant with around 1 year of experience in travel sales or tourism. The role involves handling customer enquiries, suggesting suitable South India tour packages, preparing itineraries and quotations, and converting enquiries into confirmed bookings.
Key Responsibilities
- Understand customer travel requirements, preferences, and budget.
- Recommend suitable tour packages across South India.
- Prepare customized itineraries and quotations.
- Follow up with leads and convert enquiries into bookings.
- Communicate with customers throughout the sales process.
- Coordinate with the operations team for confirmed bookings.
- Maintain accurate records of leads, follow-ups, quotations, and bookings.
Requirements
- Around 1 year of experience in travel, tourism, travel sales, or a related field.
- Strong English communication skills required; Hindi proficiency is an advantage.
- knowledge of South Indian destinations and tour packages.
- Strong communication and customer-handling skills.
- Ability to understand customer requirements and recommend suitable travel options.
- Experience with CRM or lead-management systems is an advantage.
