TIG WELDER

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Clean and prepare base metal before welding
- perform TIG welding as per drawing / WPS
- set welding machine parameters correctly
- Weld basic joints ( butt,fillet, lap)
- use shielding gas / purging correctly
- Visually inspect welds for defects
- Maintain equipment and work area
- Follow safety procedures ( PPE,fire,gas handling )
- Report defect/ issues to supervisor
- maintain daily production logs

KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS

- Titanium welding
- X-Ray Qualification
- Reading and setting welding parameters
- Material preparation and cleaning
- Shielding Gas handling

QUALIFICATIONS

- ITI Certificate,Diploma in engineering (any relevant stream)
- 6-8 years of hands-on experience in TIG welding, precision fabrication,and working with stainless steel,alioy steels,or pressure piping.
- Experience in oil and gas, marine,heavy manufacturing,structural febrication,or industrial piping sectores is an advantage
