Responsibilities

- Overall QA/QC activities for Power and IDT Type Transformer Manufacturing, Testing & Dispatch.

- Incoming material inspection and quality verification as per approved specifications, drawings and standards.

- In-process quality inspection of core, winding, insulation, active part, tanking, assembly and finishing activities.

- Final inspection and routine testing of transformers before dispatch.

- Ensure compliance with applicable IS/IEC standards, customer specifications and approved drawings.

- Monitoring and closure of NCRs, customer complaints, deviations and CAPA.

- Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for quality failures and implementation of corrective/preventive actions.

- Coordinate with Production, Design, Purchase,



Stores and Testing departments for quality-related issues.

- Monitor critical process parameters and ensure quality control at each manufacturing stage.

- Develop and monitor quality KPIs, rejection/rework trends and customer complaint performance.

- Conduct quality awareness and training programs for production and inspection teams.

- Drive Zero Defect / Zero Customer Complaint initiatives across the manufacturing process.

- Report major quality issues, risks and improvement actions to Management.
