: Test Architect

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Test Architect to support a large-scale enterprise modernization program. The ideal candidate will be responsible for defining the overall testing strategy, establishing test automation frameworks, and implementing quality governance standards across modernization and transformation initiatives.

The candidate will work closely with development teams, solution architects, QA professionals, and global delivery teams to ensure high-quality software delivery, effective test coverage, and alignment with enterprise testing standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Define and implement the overall testing strategy and quality assurance roadmap for enterprise modernization initiatives.
- Design scalable test architectures, automation frameworks, and reusable testing solutions.
- Establish quality governance standards, testing policies, and best practices across projects.
- Develop comprehensive test strategies covering functional, integration, regression, performance, and end-to-end testing.
- Lead test automation initiatives to improve test coverage, efficiency, and release quality.
- Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous testing and delivery.
- Define testing approaches for legacy system modernization, application migration, and platform transformation.
- Establish test metrics, quality KPIs, defect management processes, and reporting mechanisms.
- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, architects, and product teams to identify testing requirements and risks.
- Oversee test planning, test design, execution, defect tracking, and test result validation.
- Ensure appropriate test data management,



environment readiness, and test coverage.
- Identify quality risks, bottlenecks, and process improvement opportunities throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Conduct test architecture reviews and provide technical guidance to QA and automation teams.
- Work closely with global delivery teams to ensure consistent testing practices and delivery standards.
- Drive technical excellence through continuous improvement, documentation, and knowledge sharing.

Required Skills and Experience
- Proven experience as a Test Architect, QA Architect, Test Lead, or in a similar senior testing role.
- Strong expertise in software testing strategy, test architecture, and quality governance.
- Hands-on experience designing and implementing test automation frameworks.
- Robust knowledge of automation tools such as Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or equivalent technologies.
- Experience with API testing tools such as Postman, REST Assured, or similar frameworks.
- Understanding of functional, integration, regression, system, and end-to-end testing.
- Experience integrating automated testing into CI/CD pipelines and DevOps workflows.
- Knowledge of performance testing tools such as JMeter, LoadRunner, or equivalent technologies.
- Experience with test management, defect tracking, and quality reporting tools.
- Strong understanding of Agile, Scrum, and modern software development methodologies.




- Experience defining test metrics, quality gates, and risk-based testing approaches.
- Ability to identify testing challenges and define scalable, reusable solutions.
- Excellent communication, analytical, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in enterprise modernization, legacy application migration, or digital transformation programs.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms and cloud-native application testing.
- Experience with security testing and non-functional testing strategies.
- Familiarity with tools such as Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jira, or similar platforms.
- Experience in test data management and environment management.
- Knowledge of service virtualization and contract testing.
- Experience coordinating QA teams across multiple locations and global delivery environments.
