Role: Test Engineer – PCBA & Product Testing

Role Overview

As a Test Engineer specializing in PCBA and product testing, He/she are responsible for ensuring the efficiency, accuracy, and reliability of testing and validation processes for printed circuit board assemblies (PCBAs) and finished products. His/her role is critical in maintaining high-quality standards and improving overall manufacturing performance.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and implement comprehensive test strategies for PCBA and product validation.
- Design and deploy advanced test fixtures and methodologies to improve test coverage and efficiency.
- Perform detailed analysis of complex test data to identify trends, defects, and improvement opportunities.
- Drive root cause analysis and resolution of technical issues related to testing failures, reduce Breakdown & MTTR( Mean Time to Repair) .
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (design, manufacturing, quality, and suppliers) to enhance product quality and test robustness.
- Continuously optimize testing processes and methodologies to improve reliability and reduce test cycle time.
- Ensure all testing procedures meet industry standards and internal quality benchmarks.

Technical Expertise




- Deep domain expertise in PCBA testing techniques (ICT, FCT, boundary scan, functional testing, etc.).
- Solid understanding of electronics, circuit behaviour, and failure mechanisms.
- Ability to develop innovative testing solutions using new tools and technologies.
- Experience with data analysis, automation tools, and test software platforms.

Leadership & Decision-Making
- Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior engineers and team members.
- Review and validate the work of others to ensure accuracy, quality, and compliance.
- Handle non-routine and escalated technical issues with sound engineering judgment.
- Make decisions on priorities and execution based on technical standards and best practices.
