Role Description The Technician role is a full-time, in office position based in Kochi. The Technician is responsible for installing, assembling, testing, and maintaining electrical and electronic equipment and systems produced or supported by Phi Audiocom Systems. Daily tasks include following technical drawings and wiring diagrams, performing routine inspections, troubleshooting faults, and supporting senior engineers in system deployment and maintenance.

The role involves using standard tools and measurement instruments, documenting work performed, and adhering to safety and quality procedures.



The Technician will collaborate with other team members, support field operations when needed, and ensure that systems are delivered and maintained according to company and client requirements.

Qualifications

- Technical skills in electrical and electronic equipment installation, wiring, testing, and basic troubleshooting.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, circuit diagrams, and equipment manuals.
- Familiarity with standard tools, measuring instruments, and safety practices in an industrial environment.
- Strong attention to detail, documentation skills, and ability to follow established processes and quality standards.
- Effective teamwork and communication skills, with the ability to coordinate with engineers, supervisors, and other technicians.
- Diploma or certificate in Electrical, Electronics, or a related technical field; relevant experience in manufacturing or service operations is an advantage.
- Willingness to work on-site in Kochi and, when required, support field installations or maintenance activities.
- Understanding of basic computer applications for reporting, record keeping, and communication.
