Responsibilities
- Architect and oversee the development of high-availability distributed systems utilizing advanced caching and messaging technologies.
- Lead the full software development lifecycle, from concept to deployment, ensuring adherence to Agile and Scrum methodologies.
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct code reviews to maintain high standards of code quality and security across the codebase.
- Design and implement scalable backend services using Java-based frameworks, ensuring optimal performance and resource utilization.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical requirements and translate business needs into actionable engineering tasks.
- Manage cloud infrastructure and deployment pipelines within AWS environments to support continuous integration and delivery.
- Utilize project management and documentation tools to track progress, manage backlogs, and facilitate team communication.
- Troubleshoot complex production issues and implement long-term solutions to prevent recurrence.
Requirements
Requirements:
- Experience: 8 to 12 years of professional experience in software engineering, with a proven track record in leading technical initiatives.
- Core Programming: Deep expertise in Java, Groovy, and Spring Boot/Spring frameworks.
- Database & Caching: Strong proficiency in relational databases (Oracle, MySQL) and in-memory data grids (Hazelcast, Redis).
- Messaging & Streaming: Hands-on experience with event-driven architectures using Apache Kafka.
- Full Stack Capabilities: Comprehensive knowledge of up-to-date frontend frameworks (Angular) and backend technologies (Grails, Hibernate).
- Cloud & DevOps: Practical experience with AWS cloud services and web server configuration (Nginx).
- Methodologies: Demonstrated ability to work effectively within Agile/Scrum environments.
- Tools: Proficiency with collaboration and issue tracking platforms such as Jira and Confluence.
