Role Description The Technical Documentation Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Lucknow. This role is responsible for creating, organizing, and maintaining transparent and accurate technical documentation, including user manuals, installation guides, API references, and process documentation for CMP Techsseract LLP’s web and mobile solutions. The specialist will collaborate closely with developers, designers, and project managers to gather technical information, understand product features, and translate complex concepts into user-friendly content.

Daily tasks include drafting and editing documentation, standardizing formats, ensuring version control, and aligning content with internal style guidelines. The role may also involve preparing release notes, FAQs, and internal knowledge base articles to support implementation, support teams, and end users.

Strong technical writing and documentation skills.

Practical experience in preparing SRS, FRS, BRD, Use Cases, User Manuals, SOPs,



and technical proposals.

Good understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

Understanding of Agile and/or Waterfall development methodologies.

Ability to understand software requirements and communicate them effectively.

Strong command of English grammar and professional writing. Excellent analytical and documentation skills.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Technical Documentation and Documentation skills for creating structured and comprehensive materials.
- Candidates should possess solid Technical Writing and Manuals skills for developing clear user guides and product documentation.
- Candidates should possess effective Communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and clarify technical details.
- Proficiency in documentation tools (e.g., MS Office, Google Workspace, Markdown, or similar) and familiarity with version control or project management systems is beneficial.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Technical Communication, or a related field is preferred.
- Attention to detail, strong organizational abilities, and the capacity to manage multiple documentation projects simultaneously are important.
- Experience documenting software, web applications, or APIs and basic understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) will be an advantage.
