Key Responsibilities:

- Partner with business users, Functional BAs, and development teams to deliver solutions for Fixed Income and other business areas.
- Gather, analyze, and document business, functional, and technical requirements.
- Translate high-level requirements into detailed JIRA stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, and developer-ready specifications.
- Act as the primary bridge between business stakeholders and developers, ensuring explicit understanding of requirements and priorities.
- Perform hands-on data analysis using SQL for requirement validation, troubleshooting, reconciliations, and root cause analysis.
- Perform data analysis and troubleshooting of XML payloads, interface messages, and system integrations to support issue resolution and root cause analysis.
- Facilitate requirement walkthroughs and provide ongoing clarification during development.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies including backlog grooming, sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Develop and execute functional, integration, and UAT test cases; validate delivered solutions against requirements.
- Maintain project documentation, process flows, data mappings, and knowledge repositories.




- Drive process improvements, automation opportunities, and operational efficiencies.
- Collaborate effectively with globally distributed teams and mentor junior analysts.

Qualifications:

- 5+ years of experience as a Technical Business Analyst, Systems Analyst, or similar role within enterprise applications.
- Strong SQL skills with experience in data analysis, reconciliations, and issue investigation.
- Strong understanding of XML technologies (XML, XSD, XPath) with experience analyzing XML payloads
- Proven experience translating business requirements into detailed functional specifications and JIRA user stories.
- Strong analytical and technical problem-solving capabilities.
- Experience working closely with software development teams throughout the SDLC.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools such as JIRA and Confluence.
- Hands-on experience with functional, integration, and UAT testing.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work effectively across multiple geographical locations and time zones.
- Knowledge of Fixed Income, Capital Markets, Trading, or Regulatory Reporting is desirable.
- Demonstrated interest in leveraging AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot, GitHub Copilot, Claude, or similar technologies to improve analysis, testing, documentation, and delivery efficiency.

Nice to Have Domain Qualification:
- Knowledge of Fixed Income, Capital Markets,



Trading, Regulatory Reporting, and financial messaging standards such as FpML (Financial Products Markup Language), FIX Protocol, ISO 20022, or SWIFT message formats is highly desirable.
