Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Tanium Endpoint Configuration Engineer to join our team and support enterprise endpoint management, configuration, patching, compliance, and security operations.

The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience with the Tanium platform, particularly Tanium Enforce, along with expertise in endpoint management across Windows, Linux, and macOS environments. The candidate will be responsible for implementing, managing, monitoring, and troubleshooting endpoint configuration and compliance across the enterprise environment.

Position Details

- Position: Technical Analyst – Tanium Endpoint Configuration Engineer

- Experience: 4–9+ years

- Location: Bangalore / Hyderabad

- Shift: EST Support – 2:30 PM IST to 1:30 AM IST

- Duration: 1 Year

Key Responsibilities

- Administer and support Tanium modules, including Patch, Comply, Deploy, Discover, and Enforce.

- Design, implement, and maintain endpoint configuration baselines and enforcement policies using Tanium Enforce.

- Manage enterprise patching and vulnerability remediation using Tanium Patch and Comply.

- Build, maintain, and optimize Tanium sensors, packages, saved questions, and endpoint workflows.

- Enforce endpoint configuration and security compliance across Windows, Linux, and macOS environments.

- Monitor endpoint health, agent coverage, compliance status, and configuration drift across the workplace.

- Develop automation scripts using PowerShell, Bash, and/or Python to streamline endpoint operations.

- Integrate Tanium with enterprise ITSM and security platforms such as ServiceNow and SIEM solutions using APIs.

- Provide Tier 3 support for endpoint configuration, patching, compliance, and Tanium platform-related issues.

- Perform platform maintenance, upgrades, configuration changes, and scalability tuning.

- Support audit and compliance reporting by providing accurate endpoint configuration and compliance data.

- Collaborate with security, infrastructure, IT operations,



and application teams to maintain effective endpoint management and compliance.

- Prepare and maintain technical documentation, troubleshooting procedures, and operational processes.

Experience & Requirements

- 4–9+ years of experience in endpoint engineering, systems administration, infrastructure operations, or a related technical domain.

- Strong hands-on experience with the Tanium platform, particularly Tanium Enforce.

- Practical experience with Tanium Patch, Comply, Deploy, Discover, and Enforce.

- Strong expertise in endpoint management across Windows, Linux, and macOS.

- Experience with patch management and vulnerability remediation workflows.

- Strong scripting and automation skills using PowerShell, Bash, and/or Python.

- Experience developing and managing Tanium sensors, packages, saved questions, and endpoint actions.

- Experience integrating enterprise tools through REST APIs.

- Experience with ServiceNow, SIEM platforms, and other enterprise IT/security tools.

- Strong understanding of endpoint security, configuration management, compliance, and vulnerability management.

- Knowledge of enterprise security and compliance frameworks such as CIS, NIST, and ISO 27001.

- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

- Ability to work independently and provide Tier 3 technical support in an enterprise environment.

Preferred Qualifications

- Tanium-related certifications or formal training.

- Experience working in large-scale enterprise endpoint environments.

- Experience supporting global IT environments.

- Willingness to work in EST/US-aligned shifts.

- Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills.
