Team Leader – Vessel Scheduling

Role:

Lead a team handling vessel scheduling and voyage maintenance, ensuring accurate vessel schedules, port rotations, timings and shipping master data.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead team workload, shift planning and SLA delivery.
- Manage vessel schedules, voyage creation, port rotations, ETB/ETD and cut-off updates.
- Handle vessel substitutions, blank sailings and schedule changes.
- Ensure accuracy of scheduling and master data in shipping systems.
- Coordinate with Network Planning, Cargo Operations and Trade Management teams.
- Handle escalations, system issues and schedule discrepancies.
- Monitor productivity, quality, TAT and SLA performance.
- Prepare operational dashboards and reports.




- Train, coach and develop team members.
- Drive process improvement and automation initiatives.

Required:

- 5+ years in Container Shipping / Vessel Scheduling / Maritime Logistics / Network Operations.
- Current designation as Team Leader / Assistant Manager preferred.
- Solid knowledge of vessel schedules, port rotations and liner shipping operations.
- Advanced MS Excel – Pivot, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, INDEX-MATCH, Power Query.
- Experience with FIS/shipping systems, Power BI or similar tools preferred.
- Strong team leadership, stakeholder management and analytical skills.
