Industry: Maritime / Shipping / Cargo Operations

Role:

Lead end-to-end cargo operations from booking to discharge, including vessel planning, cargo allocation, port operations and turnaround performance across GCC ports.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage vessel planning, cargo allocation, stowage and vessel turnaround.
- Ensure compliance with maritime, port, customs and shipping regulations.
- Manage operational costs including port costs, demurrage, detention and stevedoring.
- Track KPIs such as vessel TAT, berth productivity, cargo damage, port cost and on-time sailing.
- Manage relationships with ports, terminals, customs, freight forwarders and shipping agents.
- Drive process improvement,



digitalization and automation of cargo operations.
- Manage cargo documentation, ERP/TOS/Cargo Management Systems.
- Lead and develop multi-location GCC operations teams.
- Manage vendors, contracts and SLAs.

Required:

- 12+ years in Maritime Cargo / Vessel Operations.
- Solid GCC port operations experience.
- Excellent knowledge of cargo operations and shipping processes.
- Strong stakeholder and team management skills.
- Willingness to work rotational shifts and travel as required.
