Apave TIV India is looking for an experienced Team Leader – Third Party Inspection (TPI) to lead and coordinate inspection activities in Mumbai and the assigned region.
The position can be based at Navi Mumbai or Thane , depending on the candidate's suitability and business requirements.
The role will be responsible for ensuring effective execution of TPI assignments, client satisfaction, team utilization, operational performance and compliance with Apave's quality, safety and ethical standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage day-to-day Third Party Inspection (TPI) activities, including scheduling, manpower deployment and assignment execution.
- Ensure inspection assignments are completed within agreed timelines and in accordance with applicable codes, standards, ITPs and client specifications.
- Supervise and support inspection personnel, monitoring performance, productivity and resource utilization.
- Coordinate with clients on inspection schedules, scope, service delivery and resolution of operational issues.
- Manage relationships with assigned customers and support business development and account growth.
- Support the Business Unit Manager in business planning, budgeting, revenue forecasting and billing.
- Monitor manpower utilization, assignment status, billing and revenue performance.
- Identify recent business opportunities and promote Apave TIV's TPI services and capabilities.
- Provide technical and operational guidance to inspection teams and support competency development.
- Ensure compliance with Apave's HSQE requirements, policies, Code of Ethics and applicable legal and regulatory requirements.
- Contribute to continuous improvement in service quality, operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Candidate Profile
- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical, Metallurgical, Production or related Engineering discipline.
- 8–12 years of relevant experience in Third Party Inspection, Vendor Inspection, QA/QC or related inspection services.
- Experience in managing inspection teams, client assignments and multiple inspection activities.
- Experience in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Power, EPC, Engineering or Manufacturing industries will be preferred.
- Good understanding of inspection processes, applicable codes, standards and quality requirements.
- Strong team leadership, client management and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple assignments, priorities and stakeholders effectively.
- Relevant inspection/NDT certifications will be an advantage.
