We are looking for an experienced Team Lead – Performance Marketing who can lead a performance marketing team, manage key client accounts, drive campaign strategy, and ensure measurable business outcomes.
Role Overview The Team Lead – Performance Marketing will be responsible for planning, executing, optimizing, and scaling paid media campaigns across platforms such as Google Ads, Meta Ads, YouTube Ads, LinkedIn Ads, and other relevant advertising platforms.
The role requires a combination of strategic thinking, hands-on campaign management, data analysis, team leadership, client communication, and business understanding.
The candidate should be capable of independently handling high-value accounts while mentoring performance marketing executives and ensuring the team consistently meets campaign and client objectives.
Key Responsibilities
1. Performance Marketing Strategy
- Develop comprehensive paid media strategies based on client objectives, target audience, industry, and budget.
- Plan campaign structures across Meta, Google, YouTube, LinkedIn, and other relevant platforms.
- Define campaign objectives, audience segments, funnels, budgets, KPIs, and optimisation plans.
- Develop strategies for lead generation, e-commerce sales, website traffic, brand awareness, remarketing, and customer acquisition.
- Identify opportunities to improve ROAS, CPL, CPA, conversion rates, lead quality, and overall campaign efficiency.
- Stay updated with changes in advertising platforms, algorithms, targeting capabilities, AI tools, and industry trends.
2. Campaign Management
- Plan, launch, monitor, and optimize campaigns across:
- Meta Ads
- Google Search Ads
- Google Display Ads
- Performance Max
- YouTube Ads
- LinkedIn Ads
- Remarketing campaigns
- Lead generation campaigns
- E-commerce campaigns
- Manage campaign budgets and daily spends.
- Monitor campaign performance and make data-driven optimization decisions.
- Conduct A/B testing for audiences, creatives, ad copies, landing pages, bidding strategies, and campaign structures.
- Identify underperforming campaigns and take corrective action.
- Scale successful campaigns while maintaining performance efficiency.
3. Lead Generation & Conversion Optimization
- Build lead-generation strategies for B2B and B2C businesses.
- Understand the complete marketing funnel from ad impression → click → landing page → lead → qualified lead → conversion.
- Work with creative, content, web development, and sales teams to improve campaign performance.
- Analyze lead quality and identify gaps between marketing-generated leads and actual business conversions.
- Recommend landing page, creative, messaging, targeting, and funnel improvements.
- Develop strategies for improving qualified lead volume and reducing CPL/CPA.
4. E-commerce Performance Marketing
- Develop acquisition and remarketing strategies for e-commerce brands.
- Manage product-focused campaigns and catalogue-based advertising.
- Analyze revenue, ROAS, AOV, conversion rate, CAC, and customer acquisition performance.

- Lead and mentor a team of performance marketing executives.
- Allocate accounts and responsibilities across team members.
- Review campaign strategies and performance prepared by team members.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide actionable feedback.
- Train team members on Meta Ads, Google Ads, analytics, optimization, reporting, and industry best practices.
- Ensure campaigns are launched accurately and within defined timelines.
- Establish internal processes and quality-control mechanisms.
- Help team members troubleshoot campaign and performance-related challenges.
6. Client Management
- Act as a strategic point of contact for key performance marketing clients.
- Participate in client meetings and performance reviews.
- Present campaign performance, insights, challenges, and recommendations.
- Translate campaign data into clear business insights for clients.
- Understand client business objectives and align marketing activities accordingly.
- Manage client expectations regarding campaign performance, budgets, timelines, and deliverables.
- Identify opportunities for account growth and additional services.
7. Reporting & Analytics
- Prepare and review weekly/monthly performance reports.
- Analyze key metrics including:
- Impressions
- Reach
- CTR
- CPC
- CPM
- Leads
- CPL
- CPA
- Conversion Rate
- ROAS
- Revenue
- CAC
- Lead Quality
- Identify trends and performance gaps.
- Provide actionable recommendations based on data.
- Ensure reporting is accurate, timely, and aligned with client KPIs.
8. Tracking & Analytics
- Ensure proper implementation and monitoring of:
- Google Analytics 4
- Google Tag Manager
- Meta Pixel
- Conversion API
- Google Ads conversion tracking
- UTM parameters
- Lead tracking
- CRM integrations
- Troubleshoot tracking and attribution issues.
- Work with the technology/web team to ensure accurate conversion tracking.
9. Creative & Landing Page Collaboration
- Work closely with creative teams to develop performance-oriented ad creatives.
- Provide creative briefs based on campaign data and audience insights.
- Analyze creative performance and recommend iterations.
- Collaborate with UI/UX and development teams to improve landing pages.
- Recommend changes to headlines, CTAs, forms, page structure, and messaging based on campaign performance.
10. Business Growth
- Identify opportunities to increase client retention and account value.
- Contribute to performance marketing proposals and pitches.
- Participate in new business presentations when required.
- Create campaign strategies and media plans for prospective clients.
- Support the business development team with performance marketing expertise.
- Identify opportunities to cross-sell relevant digital marketing services.
