Role Description

A. Expense Auditing & Compliance

- Review and audit employee expense reports to ensure compliance with the company's Global Travel & Expense Policy.
- Validate expense claims for accuracy, completeness, supporting documentation, business purpose, and appropriate approvals.
- Identify policy violations, duplicate claims, unusual spending patterns, and potential misuse of corporate funds.
- Ensure expense reports are processed within defined service-level agreements (SLAs).
- Escalate high-risk transactions, recurring policy violations, and exceptions to management.
- Maintain appropriate audit documentation and ensure adherence to internal controls.

B. Corporate Card Management & Reconciliation
- Monitor corporate card transactions and ensure timely reconciliation with employee expense reports.




- Follow up on missing receipts, unsubmitted expenses, overdue card transactions, and outstanding balances.
- Investigate discrepancies between card statements, expense reports, and accounting records.
- Coordinate with employees and card providers to resolve disputed transactions and outstanding balances.
- Monitor inactive employee card balances and ensure timely recovery or closure of outstanding items.
- Support corporate card issuance, amendments, cancellations, and account closures.

Preferred Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- 3–6 years of experience in Travel & Expense, finance operations, expense auditing, corporate card management, or accounts payable.
- Hands-on experience with at least one expense management platform, such as SAP Concur, Navan, Emburse, or a similar application.
- Strong knowledge of corporate travel and expense policies, expense auditing, and financial controls.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, lookups, and data analysis.
- Experience handling employee queries, reconciliations, and operational reporting.
- Robust written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact with global stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience supporting global T&E; operations across multiple countries and currencies.
- Knowledge of corporate card programs and reconciliation processes.
- Familiarity with ERP systems such as NetSuite, Oracle, or SAP.
- Experience with reporting tools such as Power BI, Cognos, or Tableau.
- Exposure to automation, AI-based expense auditing, and workflow optimization.
- Understanding of internal controls, audit requirements, and financial compliance.
