About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Tax Manager to manage direct and indirect tax matters for entities operating from GIFT City, IFSC. The role will be responsible for ensuring timely tax compliance, supporting tax-efficient structuring, and providing tax guidance on domestic and cross-border transactions.

The position will work closely with the Finance leadership team, external tax advisors, auditors, and relevant regulatory authorities.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage corporate tax, GST, withholding tax, and other tax compliances, including timely filings and payments.
- Ensure effective utilization of applicable GIFT City / IFSC tax incentives and provisions.
- Handle tax matters related to cross-border payments and intercompany transactions.
- Support transfer pricing requirements, documentation, and compliance.
- Advise Finance leadership and management on tax implications of financing and other business transactions.
- Maintain the tax compliance calendar and ensure all statutory deadlines are met.
- Coordinate with external tax advisors, auditors, and tax authorities.




- Support tax assessments, audits, and regulatory queries, including preparation of required documentation.
- Provide relevant tax information for management and Board reporting.
- Monitor changes in tax laws and regulations and communicate key developments to management.

Qualifications & Experience
- Chartered Accountant (CA) with strong expertise in direct and indirect taxation.
- 6–10+ years of relevant experience in corporate/international tax.
- Experience with GIFT City / IFSC structures, cross-border transactions, and transfer pricing is preferred.
- Solid working knowledge of:
- Income Tax Act
- GST
- IFSCA regulations and tax provisions
- FEMA
- Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively with senior Finance leadership and external advisors.
- Should meet applicable IFSCA Fit and Proper Person requirements.
- Willingness to work from GIFT City, Gandhinagar is mandatory.
