Role & responsibilities

- Own end-to-end recruitment for technical roles QA engineers, SDETs, automation engineers, test leads and developers — from requisition to offer acceptance and onboarding.

- Partner with hiring managers and delivery leads to understand role requirements, build clear job descriptions and agree on hiring timelines.

- Source candidates through Naukri, LinkedIn, referrals, job boards, communities and direct headhunting; build and maintain talent pipelines for recurring roles.

- Screen profiles and run initial phone screens using structured screening toolkits to assess skills, experience, notice period and cultural fit.

- Coordinate interviews and assessments, keep candidates informed at every stage and ensure a smooth, professional candidate experience.

- Negotiate offers, manage salary discussions and close candidates within agreed budgets.

- Maintain accurate candidate data in the ATS and share regular hiring reports (pipeline status, time-to-hire, source effectiveness).





- Support employer branding by positioning Moolya as a specialist quality engineering company to prospective candidates.

Preferred candidate profile

- 2–5 years of experience in IT / technical recruitment, preferably in a product, services or staffing environment.

- Proven track record of closing technical positions end to end, ideally in software testing, QA automation or engineering roles.

- Strong sourcing skills with hands-on experience on Naukri, LinkedIn Recruiter and Boolean search.

- Positive understanding of technical terminology (testing, automation tools, programming languages) to hold informed conversations with candidates.

- Excellent communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.

- Organised, target-driven and comfortable handling multiple open positions at once.

- Experience with an ATS and working knowledge of Excel / Google Sheets for tracking and reporting.

- Graduate / post-graduate in any discipline; MBA in HR is a plus.
