System Administrator - L2

Experience: 3–4 Years | Employment Type: Full time | Level: L2

Position Summary

We are looking for a technically skilled System Administrator with 3–4 years of hands-on experience in Windows/Linux administration, server infrastructure, cloud platforms, virtualization, backup, security, and IT operations.

The candidate will be responsible for managing, monitoring, troubleshooting, and maintaining IT infrastructure and server environments. The role requires good troubleshooting skills, hands-on experience with operating systems and cloud platforms, and the ability to independently resolve day-to-day infrastructure and system-related issues.

The candidate should be comfortable working with internal teams and end users, following IT operational procedures, maintaining documentation, and escalating complex issues when required.

Key Responsibilities

- Install, configure, administer, monitor, and troubleshoot Windows and Linux servers.
- Perform server administration, including user access, services, processes, storage, permissions, and system health.
- Troubleshoot OS, application,



server, and client connectivity issues.
- Manage and troubleshoot common Internet and network services including DNS, DHCP, LDAP, SSH, SFTP, HTTPS, and related protocols.
- Use troubleshooting tools such as Ping, Traceroute, Nslookup, Telnet, and other command-line utilities.
- Perform basic Linux command-line administration, shell commands, service management, file permissions, process management, and log analysis.
- Manage and troubleshoot virtualization environments such as VMware, Hyper-V, VirtualBox, OpenStack, or equivalent platforms.
- Perform virtual machine creation, configuration, resource allocation, snapshots, and basic troubleshooting.
- Perform approved infrastructure changes, upgrades, and maintenance activities.
- Provide L2 support and escalate complex issues to senior engineers or appropriate technical teams.

Qualifications

- Diploma / bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent industry experience.
