Education:.E./B.Tech /Diploma in Mechanical/Production/Manufacturing/Industrial Engineering

3–7 years; technical purchase/subcontracting; precision engineering/aerospace/defence preferred

Description

- Procure raw materials, bought-out components, tooling, consumables and services.
- Identify and evaluate suppliers based on technical capability, quality, cost and delivery.
- Obtain and technically/commercially evaluate quotations.
- Negotiate price, delivery, payment terms and commercial conditions.
- Manage outsourcing of CNC machining, heat treatment, coating, plating, special processes and other services.
- Issue purchase/subcontract orders and communicate specifications and quality requirements.
- Monitor supplier schedules and expedite critical materials.
- Coordinate supplier inspection, quality issues and corrective actions with QC/QA.
- Ensure material certificates, CoC, inspection reports and other required documents are received.




- Develop alternate sources and supplier capability.
- Maintain supplier performance records and support supplier evaluation.

Technical / Commercial:
- Strong technical purchase and subcontracting knowledge.
- Understanding of CNC machining, heat treatment, coating and precision manufacturing.
- Ability to read drawings/specifications for purchase and outsourcing.
- Supplier evaluation and development.
- Negotiation, costing and commercial analysis.

Quality / Functional:
- Supplier quality and traceability awareness.
- Knowledge of certificates/CoC and documentation.
- ERP/purchase systems.
- Solid follow-up, communication and expediting skills.
- Risk awareness and ability to manage critical supplies.

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
