Role & responsibilities

- Drive APQP, PPAP and supplier quality activities for recent and existing parts.
- Strong technical understanding of machining, casting and gear manufacturing processes.
- Review engineering drawings, GD&T; and inspection requirements and provide supplier technical support.
- Perform and support supplier process audits, process validation and product inspections.
- Strong knowledge of CMM inspection and measurement techniques.
- Independently operate and understand the application of various precision measuring instruments such as vernier, micrometer, bore gauge, height gauge, dial gauges and other inspection equipment.
- Analyze dimensional and process data to identify variation and potential quality risks.
- Lead supplier quality issues using 8D, Root Cause Analysis and Corrective/Preventive Action methodologies.
- Work closely with suppliers, Engineering, Purchasing, Production and Quality teams to resolve technical and quality issues.
- Support supplier development, part qualification, validation and production readiness.
- Monitor supplier performance and drive continuous improvement in quality and process capability.

Latitude for action and decision-making

- Works independently within defined Supplier Quality processes, standards, engineering specifications and project timelines.
- Independently plans and executes supplier quality activities including APQP, PPAP, supplier audits, process validation, inspection and supplier development.




- Has authority to identify supplier quality risks, initiate containment actions and recommend corrective actions based on technical assessment.
- Uses professional judgment to determine appropriate inspection methods, measurement techniques and escalation requirements within established procedures.

Education/experience

- B.E / B. TECH (MECHANICAL, AUTOMOBILE)

10+ yrs of Experience in similar industry like ours or with experience in Automobile, Construction equipment Industry & Farm Equipment sectors. Were Hiring Supplier Validation Engineer , Sr. Engineer, Asst Manager

The role will independently drive Supplier Quality activities, from new part development through serial production, ensuring compliance with engineering specifications, quality standards, and project timelines.

The incumbent will work closely with Suppliers, Engineering, Purchasing, Production, and Quality teams to resolve technical and quality issues and drive continuous improvement.
